Child Development
The main focus of Deep Griha's child development programme is education. Children are given space to learn and develop, and are enabled to fulfil their potential, creating brighter futures. 
Children over 5 years old receive education at local state-run schools but generally, the standard of education in these schools is very poor. Deep Griha Society provides additional support to this group of children who cannot afford a better quality education.
One problem that children face is that many homes in marginalised communities are cramped with little or no space for children to study. In additon to this, although parents want to support their children, many have little education themselves so may be unable to offer much help.
Deep Griha Society offers many forms of educational support from its centres at Tadiwala Road, Ramtekadi and Bibvewadi. Coaching Classes provide children from deprived families with extra tuition and Literacy and Post-Literacy Classes are also available.
