Sure Start
Deep Griha is working with Project Concern International to implement the Sure Start Project. This is a project initiated by PATH, an international NGO working to improve the health of people around the world.
PATH created the Sure Start Project for India, working with local partners to reach one million women and newborns across the country.
The project's main aims are to:
- Support and increase individual, household and community action that directly and indirectly improves maternal and newborn health
- Enhance systems and institutional capabilities for sustained improvements in maternal and newborn care and health status
Sixteen fieldworkers are operating the project in the Tadiwala Road, Ramtekdi and Bibwewadi slums.
