     Title: Sonali, Crèche

Sonali Chakar, age 4 has been a part of the Deep Griha crèche –Rose since last year. Her father runs a small stall selling sweets and biscuits and her mother works as a maid servant. Their monthly income together is not more Rs. 4500. Their financial condition is not good so it is crucial for both parents to work. They can’t look after her during the day.

Within Sonali’s first couple of weeks at Deep Griha, the creche teacher noticed some problem with her vision caused due to vitamin deficiency. She was immediately referred to a doctor. After six months, the nutrition served at Deep Griha, doctor’s treatment and various activities at Deep Griha have helped in developing her hand-eye coordination.

Her mother has noticed many positive changes since she has been a part of Deep Griha creche.
