Friends of Deep Griha UK and Friends of Deep Griha USA were set up by individuals in these countries to enable continued support of the projects, programmes and activities of Deep Griha Society (DGS). These are individuals who have visited or supported Deep Griha’s work in the past and are determined to see the great work of DGS continue.
Many of those involved have spent time working or volunteering with DGS in Pune or have visited and understood the importance and breadth of work of DGS. This ensures a strong connection between the Friends of groups and DGS, a connection that continues to grow stronger.
Friends of Deep Griha UK and USA aim to be more than just organisations that raise and send funds to DGS. They also raise awareness of the work DGS does and often support specific projects. They achieve this by increasing awareness of the work of DGS, raising money through fundraising activities in their home communities and keep those who are involved up to date with news from DGS. If you are interested in getting involved in the UK or USA, you can find out more about how to below.
